Traditionally, the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg performs the Mozart Matinees with its principal conductor Riccardo Minasi, honorary conductor Ivor Bolton and Ádám Fischer. Raphaël Pichon returns to the conductor’s desk of the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg with an extraordinary Mozart Akademie after the great success of the past festival summer: he embarks on a journey through the musical search for traces of the creation of Mozart’s Da Ponte cycle. Andrew Manze makes his debut with a Mozart Matinee and the traditional performance of the C Minor Mass at the Salzburg Festival.
