ARGEkultur

ARGEkultur

As the largest independent cultural centre in Salzburg, ARGEkultur brings together contemporary arts and culture in a unique way. It is a presenter and producer for contemporary, innovative and socially critical culture. As a space for communication and production – also hosting numerous initiatives and groups – ARGEkultur has positioned itself as a meeting-point and platform for current cultural creative output in Salzburg.

Every year, ARGEkultur hosts up to 350 events (its own productions, co-productions and guest events) for approximately 40,000 visitors. In addition, many workshops, courses, seminars and rehearsals take place at the centre.

Implementing a dynamic concept for the use of its facilities, ARGEkultur offers work and networking opportunities for over 20 permanent or regular groups of users from different genres.
