In the festival summer 2019 a series of chamber concerts will be performed including Martha Argerich and Daniel Barenboim with members of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra: Works by Sergei Prokofiev, Robert Schumann and Dmitri Shostakovich are on the programme. The Quatuor Ebène plays works by Johannes Brahms, Henri Dutilleux and Ludwig van Beethoven, the Quatuor Modigliani with Lawrence Power (viola) and Sabine Meyer (clarinet) quintets by Mozart. Mitsuko Uchida concludes the series of chamber concerts with clarinetist Jörg Widmann and soprano Anna Lucia Richter.
