Ariadne auf Naxos – Craftmanship

In the Salzburg Festival’s dyeing workshop, the costumes for ARIADNE AUF NAXOS were crafted with great precision. Using brushes and dye, shades and textures are created that lend the fabrics depth and vibrancy.

Every detail counts: shades are built up layer by layer, textures are brought out, and careful consideration is always given to how the costumes will move and look on stage later on.
