- Igor Levit will take over the piano part in place of Martha Argerich in the concert of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra under the direction of Daniel Barenboim, with the programme remaining unchanged. Martha Argerich has to cancel for health reasons, much to her regret.
For artistic reasons, Martha Argerich has decided to perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in C major op. 15 instead of Frédéric Chopin’s First Piano Concerto.
