Von Abtenau bis Zell am See
In March, April and May 2026, the Salzburg Festival is travelling ‘From Abtenau to Zell am See’ with a tour of both jung & jede*r mobile productions Holle! and Kri. In cooperation with cultural associations and organizers from all over the province of Salzburg, this will give children and young people the opportunity to experience music theatre and drama performances in their local area.
Tickets for performances at cultural associations in the province of Salzburg can only be obtained from the associations themselves.
School program
The Salzburg Festival’s youth programme jung & jede*r offers school pupils direct contact with music and theatre — whether in their own schools or at a cultural centre in the province of Salzburg. In tandem with attending a performance of Holle! or Kri, school classes will experience participatory projects at school through one-day or multi-day workshops. Supervised by drama and music educators, classes will immerse themselves in creative processes, engage with the themes of the performances, and create their own artistic works.
