Festival Mentorship
Festival Mentorship
Experienced visitors to the Festival can share their passion, their enthusiasm and their memories of the Salzburg Festival with young audience members from the local area. Those who wish to take on a mentorship role for young adults aged 16 to 26 will be paired with a young person who has never been to a performance at the Salzburg Festival. A pre-performance reception with an introductory talk provides an opportunity for mentors and mentees to become acquainted and to converse. For both sides, attending a performance together opens up a unique vantage point from which to experience the world of the Festival.
Festival mentorships are offered for the following performances:
- MON 3. August: 7:00 pm – Drama: Johann Wolfgang von Goethe: Faust I (Perner-Insel, Hallein)
- TUE 11. August: 6:30 pm – Opera: Gioachino Rossini: Il viaggio a Reims (Haus für Mozart)
- MON 17. August: 7:00 pm – Opera: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Così fan tutte (Großes Festspielhaus)
