Olga Pashchenko

Olga Pashchenko is one of today’s most versatile performers at the keyboard, playing the organ and the harpsichord, the fortepiano and the modern piano. In her performances worldwide, she demonstrates a passionate personality, virtuosity, wealth of colour and sensitivity towards the broad repertoire she performs on these different instruments.
Olga Pashchenko performs as a recitalist and a chamber musician, as well as appearing as a soloist with various orchestras. She collaborates regularly with Alexander Melnikov, Pierre Hantaï, Teodor Currentzis, Alexei Lubimov, Václav Luks, the Orchestra of the 18th Century and the Finnish Baroque Orchestra. Since 2014 she has been artist in residence at the Beethoven House in Bonn. She is a frequent guest at various festivals, including the Utrecht Oude Muziek Festival, where she was artist in residence in 2016, the Potsdam Sanssouci Festival, the Festival Musiq’3 in Brussels, the Chopin and his Europe Festival in Warsaw and the Festival Sablé.
This season she has given recitals at the Beethoven House in Bonn, appeared at the Festival Winteravonden aan de Amstel, given a duo recital with Alexander Melnikov in Antwerp and a recital with Georg Nigl, featuring music by Beethoven, Schubert and Rihm, at the Heidelberg Spring Festival.
Olga Pashchenko was a student of Alexei Lubimov and Richard Egarr and graduated with honours from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the Amsterdam Conservatory. Since 2017 she has been professor of fortepiano at the Amsterdam Conservatory and since 2018 has held the same role at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent.
Olga Pashchenko has won prizes at 14 renowned competitions in Europe, including the Hans von Bülow Piano Competition in Meiningen, the International Premio Ferrari-Pianoforte Competition in Rovereto and the Bach Competition in Leipzig. She was a prizewinner twice at the Early Music Competition in Bruges, winning as both a fortepianist and harpsichordist.
Her recordings have received international acclaim and her performances are broadcast by various radio and TV channels.
