Ken Hioco

Ken Hioco studied dance at the Royal Ballet School in Antwerp. Following his dance career, he worked as a lighting designer at the deSingel arts centre and at the Toneelhuis in Antwerp as well as for the FC Bergman theatre collective. He began working for Needcompany in 2006, designing lighting for various Jan Lauwers’s productions, including The Deer House, The art of entertainment, Marketplace 76 and War and Turpentine. He has also worked with Grace Ellen Barkey on productions including The Porcelain Project and This door is too small (for a bear).
