Jack Lee began his singing training as a baritone and in 2024 won the Rolex Audience Prize at the singing competition Operalia in Mumbai. He made the transition to tenor repertory in 2025, supported by a bursary from the International Opera Awards Foundation.
In 2022 he joined the Opera Studio of the Vienna State Opera, where he appeared in roles such as Pietro Fléville (Andrea Chénier), Fiorello (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Alessio (La sonnambula) and Marquis d’Obigny (La traviata).
At the Hessian State Theatre of Wiesbaden he sang roles including Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia) and Ottokar (Der Freischütz).
Jack Lee has participated in masterclasses with Brigitte Fassbaender, Simon Keenlyside and Joyce DiDonato.
