The soprano Hanna Park grew up in South Korea. She began her musical training at the Sookmyung Women’s University in Seoul and is currently studying at the University of Music Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden with Hendrikje Wangemann. She also studies song and concert repertory with Olaf Bär.
In Korea she has already performed Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), while in university productions in Dresden she has sung Sophie Scholl (Die weiße Rose) and Donna Anna (Don Giovanni). In July 2026 she will make her debut as Pamina in a children’s version of Die Zauberflöte at the Immling Festival.
She won first prize in the ‘Opera’ category and two special prizes at the 2024 Antonín Dvořák International Singing Competition. She was also a finalist in the Concorso Lirico Salvatore Licitra and the Concorso Lirico Internazionale di Portofino, where she was awarded the Premio Eva Kleinitz.
At the start of the 2026/27 season, she will become a member of the Opera Studio of Graz Opera.
