Bettina Meiners

Soprano Bettina Meiners studied at the Mozarteum University Salzburg with Elisabeth Wilke for her Bachelor’s degree and with Barbara Bonney for her Master’s degree. She gained her first operatic experience during her studies in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro and in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She also sang one of the leading roles in Antonio Caldara’s Assalone in November 2022.
In addition to opera, she has a great passion for Lied, studied Lied interpretation with Pauliina Tukiainen and took part in masterclasses with Christoph Prégardien and Felicity Lott, among others. She has performed with renowned ensembles and conductors such as the L’Orfeo Barockorchester (conductor: Michi Gaigg), La Divina Armonia (conductor: Lorenzo Ghielmi) and the Salzburger Barockensemble (conductors: Alfredo Bernardini and Jörn Hinnerk Andresen), the Hofkapelle München (conductor: Howard Arman), the Münchener Bach-Chor und Bach-Orchester (conductor: Hansjörg Albrecht) and the Cappella Musica Dresden (conductor: Helmut Branny). She has also performed at festivals such as Musik und Kirche (Sterzing), Musiksommer zwischen Inn und Salzach (Kloster Seeon), the concert series Musik in fränkischen Schlössern and Meisterinterpreten Dippoldiswalde as well as the Barocknacht in the Salzburg Residenz.
Bettina Meiners is a winner of the 2019 Duschek Competition of the Mozart Community in Prague.
