Adrien La Marca

Adrien La Marca was born in France in 1989 into a family of musicians and began playing the piano and the viola at the age of four. He entered the Paris Conservatoire when he was 16 and studied with Jean Sulem. He completed his studies in Leipzig with Tatjana Masurenko and in Berlin with Tabea Zimmermann. During his student years, Adrien La Marca was invited to take part in various musical academies and had the opportunity to work with musicians such as Seiji Ozawa, Valery Gergiev, Gidon Kremer, András Schiff and Menahem Pressler.

During the 2018/19 season, Adrien La Marca made his debuts with the Orchestre National de France, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Hong Kong Sinfonietta and the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, as well as with Les Siècles. He has also been artist in residence with the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège.

Next season’s engagements include the Walton Viola Concerto with the Orchestre National de France and Berlioz’s Harold en Italie with Les Siècles. Other highlights include recitals and chamber music concerts at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, the Schubertiade in Hohenems, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Auditorium du Louvre and the Easter Festival in Aix-en-Provence.
