Theresa Ströbele

Theresa Ströbele is a clarinettist and music educator. She gained her first experience in recognized youth orchestras in her native city of Munich and received prizes at Jugend musiziert. As a founding member of the Jugendensemble für Neue Musik Bayern, she discovered her interest in contemporary music, which led her to the Ensemble Studio Musikfabrik and to collaborations with Helmut Lachenmann, the Austrian Ensemble for New Music and various composition classes during her studies.
From 2018 to 2022, she studied clarinet at the Cologne University of Music and Dance with Michael Schmidt in the artistic and pedagogical subject. During this time, she was a German scholarship holder at the university and made her debut at the Historische Stadthalle Wuppertal. She has been studying at the Mozarteum University Salzburg with Andreas Schablas since 2022 and is currently completing her master’s degree.
Theresa Ströbele performs with various student and professional orchestras such as the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic Orchestra and the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
As a scholarship holder of the Live Music Now Salzburg Foundation, she gives concerts in the Salzburg region and also works as an instrumental teacher and chamber musician.
