The tenor Salvatore Taiello studied at the Conservatorio Alessandro Scarlatti in his home city of Palermo, where he completed degrees in opera singing and music studies. He began his professional career in 2011, when he won an audition organized by the institution Ente Luglio Musicale Trapanese, which led him to sing small roles in productions of La traviata and Don Pasquale.
Alongside his solo activities Salvatore Taiello is active as a chorus singer: in 2012 he became a member of the Chorus of the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, and since 2016 he has been a member of the Chorus of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo. He has also sung supporting roles in the Monte Carlo Opera’s productions of Massenet’s Thaïs and Handel’s Alcina.
