Romeu Runa was born in 1978 in Cova da Piedade (Portugal) and joined Peeping Tom in 2020 for Dido & Aeneas. His second creation with the company was La Visita.
Romeu Runa graduated from the National Conservatory in Lisbon, and went on to dance with Ballet Gulbenkian until the company was disbanded in 2005. Subsequently, he worked with Miguel Moreira (founder of Útero Associação Cultural), Rui Horta, Paulo Ribeiro, Clara Andermatt, Olga Roriz, Teatro Praga, Laborgras, In-jun Jung, Claudia Novoa, Hillel Kogan, Alain Platel, Berlinde De Bruyckere, Martin Zimmerman, Gonçalo Waddington, Tonan Quito, Cassiana Maranha, James Newitt, Vânia Rovisco, José Fonseca e Costa, Tiago Guedes, Yann le Quellec, Marco Martins, Beatriz Batarda, Vittorio Santoro, Tiago Lima, Jeanne Waltz, Diogo Costa Amaral, Pedro Paiva, Margarida Cardoso and Paulo Felipe Monteiro.
