Peter Rosmanith’s global ‘percussion box’ is filled with rich and colourful instruments. His quest for new sounds led him to explore non-European music, whose influence is a constant presence in his unique sound language. His distinctive playing style and sound design can be heard on more than fifty CDs. His engagement with literature and language in theatre and in radio plays led to the development of a new audio book format: Mandelbaums Bibliothek der Töne (Mandelbaum’s Library of Sounds).
