Georg Graf began his musical training at school with recorder and piano, later adding flute, saxophone and clarinet to his repertory of instruments. After graduating from school, he studied jazz in Klaus Kowarik’s class in Vienna, and enriched his sound spectrum by playing bass clarinet, oboe, trumpet, various types of flute and double-reed instruments from all over the world. Since 1985 he has been active in Vienna in a wide range of musical ensembles, as a musician at the Burgtheater, the Volkstheater and the Theater der Jugend, and in independent groups. His work is documented through a variety of studio productions, radio plays, film scores and CDs. He also teaches music.
