Florian Hasenburger
Florian Hasenburger studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Ernst Kovacic, Thomas Fheodoroff and Annette Bik. A violinist and violist, he performs solo, chamber and orchestral music from the early Baroque era to the present, on both period and modern instruments. He has appeared in concert with ensembles including Concentus Musicus Wien, Les Musiciens du Louvre, the La Folia Baroque Orchestra, the Wiener Akademie Orchestra and Klangforum Wien.
His preoccupations with special forms of communication with audiences and with unconventional concert formats led him to found the concert series Moment Musik at the Schloss Kainberg in 2018. With the Kainberg Quartet his appearances include authentic performances of Schubert’s late chamber works. As a soloist and as a chamber musician – with partners including Thomas Fheodoroff, Fritz Kircher and Manfredo Kraemer – he has appeared at the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Vienna Musikverein and at London’s Wigmore Hall, and at the Styriarte, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the Beethovenfest in Bonn and the Carinthian Summer Festival. He devises music theatre programmes for both adults and children with his ensemble HörSchauSpiel.
