D-WOK

D-Wok is an Italian entertainment design company that creates innovative video designs for live events, theatre and opera productions, concerts, exhibitions and film and television productions. It develops 3D mappings and virtual set designs based on the latest AI-powered immersive technologies.

D-Wok was founded by the director Davide Livermore and the show designer Paolo Gep Cucco. At the heart of their work is the telling of emotionally charged stories using innovative technologies.

D-Wok has created digital stage sets for productions including Aida for the Sydney Opera House in 2023, four consecutive season openings at La Scala, Milan, and productions at the Baths of Caracalla in Rome, the Teatro Antico in Taormina, the Complesso di San Firenze, the Palazzo Reale in Naples and the Roman Theatre of Orange.

For the gala concert A riveder le stelle, which opened the 2020 season at La Scala, D-Wok created an augmented reality system that was also used at the opening ceremony of the Golf Cup in Basra (Iraq) in 2023.

D-Wok has also created digital sets for pop concerts and for international events including the opening of the Dubai Canal, the Fête du Prince in Monaco, Bahrain’s Independence Day and the presentation of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award in Dubai.

In 2024 D-Wok created the video designs for the Mozart pasticcio Une folle journée at the Salzburg Whitsun Festival.
