Caspar Sasse was born in Hamburg, Germany, and received his dance training at the School of the Hamburg Ballet. Since 2023, he has been a member of the Hamburg Ballet ensemble.
John Neumeier created a leading solo role for him in Epilogue. Caspar Sasse’s repertory also includes the role of Tadzio in John Neumeier’s ballet Death in Venice, which he performed in the 2024/25 season revival of the production. As part of the ballet evening THE TIMES ARE RACING, he also performed a significant solo in Justin Peck’s piece The Times Are Racing.
