Ashley Alexandra Wright is a performer, choreographer, and composer based in Frankfurt, Germany.
She began her career with the Royal Ballet of Flanders (2005–2012), before joining l’Opéra de Lyon (2012–2016) and later Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company (2023–2026).As a choreographer, she has created works for the Royal Ballet of Flanders, l’Opéra de Lyon, and Tanztheater Hannover. Since 2017, she has held artist residencies at institutions including Les Subsistances (Lyon), HELLERAU – European Center for the Arts (Dresden), and Ufer Studios (Berlin). Her multidisciplinary production LANDBREAKERS has been presented in galleries in Hamburg, Madrid, and Frankfurt, and at the Venice Biennale of Architecture in 2022 and 2024. In 2018, Wright completed a music production course in Paris. She now composes both for her own choreographic works and for commissioned dance productions, art installations, live events, and film.
