Anna Dego
Anna Dego graduated from the Recitation School at the Teatro Nazionale in Genoa. She has been a member of Adriana Borriello’s dance company since 1998, appearing in productions such as Tammorra and Kyrie, as well as Animarrovescio, a coproduction with the Hebbel Theatre in Berlin.
In 2000 she took part in From Ritual to Dance, organized by the European Community with the aim of promoting outstanding young interdisciplinary dancers. In 2001 Anna Dego appeared in her own production of Nododiamante at the INTEATRO Festival in Polverigi. Her new piece Ostinato had its premiere in Rome in 2004.
Anna Dego has worked on numerous theatrical productions, including Ista laus et passione domini at the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti in Spoleto, La mia scena è un bosco at the Teatro della Tosse in Genoa, Elettra at the Teatro Greco in Syracuse, Tribuna centrale at the Teatro Vittoria in Rome, Cyrano de Bergerac at the Teatro de Gli Incamminati in Milan and Tango barbaro at the Teatro Stabile in Genoa. Since 1994 she has worked with Claudio Collové in Palermo on experimental productions such as Giacinti based on T. S. Eliot’s work, L’isola incandescente, Miraggi corsari based on the work of Pier Paolo Pasolini and La caduta degli angeli after Yeats.
Anna Dego has been working as a soloist with Ensemble L’Arpeggiata and Christina Pluhar since 2002.
