Aneta Petrasová

Mezzo-soprano Aneta Petrasová first studied the flute and later singing at the Prague School of Music under the tutelage of Christina Kluge. She continued her studies at the Janáček Academy of Music and the Performing Arts in Brno under Anna Barová, as well as at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden with Hendrikje Wangemann and with Olaf Bär, as well as early music under Ludger Rémy. As a student, she became a laureate of several vocal competitions including the International Vocal Competition Bohuslav Martinů and the Dušek Youth Music Competition of the Mozart Foundation in Prague. She enjoys singing works from the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as the Lieder repertoire.
Since 2013 she has collaborated with the Dresden Chamber Choir and its conductor Hans-Christoph Rademann as both a soloist and member of the ensemble. Since 2015 she has also performed with Collegium Vocale 1704 under conductor Václav Luks. Aneta Petrasová has appeared with these ensembles at prestigious festivals and concert halls including the Salzburg Festival, the Bachfest in Leipzig and Stuttgart, the Resonanzen Festival at the Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Philharmonie in Berlin and the Utrecht Early Music Festival.
Since 2015 she has worked with AuditivVokal, a German ensemble specializing in contemporary vocal music.
