Alexander Pannier was born in 1993 in Bitterfeld-Wolfen. From 2012 to 2020 he studied photography at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig in Peter Piller’s class.
While still a student he began to specialize in moving images and 3D animation. Since 2020 he has worked freelance as a 3D artist and has created animations for art, education and theatre productions.
His recent work includes the video designs for Ersan Mondtag’s production of Braunfels’s Die Vögel at the Hessian State Theatre in Wiesbaden and for Fran Díaz’s dance work Eurydike at the Leipzig Opera
