Adélaïde Ferrière

Winner of numerous international prizes, Adélaïde Ferrière was named the revelation instrumental soloist at the 24th Victoires de la Musique Classique Awards 2017, becoming the first percussionist to be nominated at the event.
In Paris, she has performed at the Philharmonie, the Auditorium de Radio France, the Opéra, the Comédie-Francaise, the Seine Musicale, the Grand Rex and the Opéra Comique. Elsewhere, she has appeared in concert at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the National Portrait Gallery in London, the Philharmonie in Luxembourg, the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus and the Auditorium Rainier III of Monaco, as well as performing with the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, the Latvian Chamber Orchestra, the Colombian Youth Philharmonic, the Orchestre Dijon Bourgogne, the Orchestre Victor Hugo Franche-Comté and the Orchestre de Caen, as well as with members of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.
Adélaïde Ferrière has also appeared at numerous leading festivals, including the Festival Présences, La Folle Journée in Nantes, the Festival de Pâques in Deauville, the Printemps des Arts in Monte Carlo, the Variations Musicales in Tannay, the New Music Festival in Dublin, Pro Musica Nova in Bremen, the MITO Festival in Milan and Turin and the Percussive Arts Society International Convention in the USA, Denmark and Colombia. Concerts and masterclasses have taken her across Europe, as well as to China, Colombia and the USA.
Born into a family of musicians, Adélaïde Ferrière began learning the piano and percussion at the Dijon Conservatory before winning a place at the Paris Conservatoire aged 15, where she graduated with the highest distinction. She also studied at the Royal College of Music in London.
Adélaïde Ferrière is a Yamaha Artist and a Kolberg Mallet Artist. She is supported by the Safran Music Foundation and the Engelberts Foundation.
