Casting Call OPERA

The Salzburg Festival is looking for dancers or acrobats or actors for the Whitsun- and Summerproduction. Further information will follow after the program presentation in December 2025.

The casting takes place on Tuesday, 25th of November 2025 from 1 p. m. at the Salzburg Festival, Hofstallgasse 1, 5020 Salzburg. Further information will follow after the online registration.

An online registration until 23rd of November 2025 is strictly necessary. Further information will follow after the online registration.

ATTENTION! Currently, registration for the casting is only possible on the waiting list. If you are invited to the casting, we will contact you as soon as possible.

We are looking for:

DANCERS | ACROBATS | ACTORS

• 8 professionally trained dancers or acrobats or actors aged between 18 and 45 years, able to blend and develop the different fields of dance, acrobatics and acting. Of particular importance are a physical theatre background and stage experiences as dancer or acrobat.

WHITSUN:

• Expected rehearsal start: 13th of April 2026
• Expected premiere: 22nd of May 2026
• Further performance: 25th of May 2026

SUMMER:

• Expected rehearsal start: 26th of July 2026
• Expected premiere: 5th of August 2026
• Last performance: 16th of August 2026
