The correspondence between three great poets covers the year 1926. Twelve years have passed since the beginning of World War I. The Russian Revolution took place nine years ago. Marina Tsvetaeva was forced to emigrate from Russia to France. Boris Pasternak remained in the Soviet Union. – But the poets do not seem to notice these historical cataclysms.
