What would the Salzburg Festival be without a well-functioning ticket office?

The ticket office is staffed with a permanent team of 10 employees who take care of customers from around 80 nations in all forms and advise them individually and professionally to ensure that all visitors have an unforgettable time at the Salzburg Festival at Whitsun and in the Summer.
During the winter, a typical day consists of taking into account all ticket requests received during the order phase in the best possible way and processing them quickly. As soon as summer approaches, the number of employees is at least doubled in order to meet the growing demand of requests and to maintain the usual quality of the Festival. As a result, more than 220,000 tickets are processed by the ticket office team each year.
