OVERALL PROGRAM / ALMANAC Salzburg Festival 2012

The comprehensive guide to all productions of the Salzburg Festival is published at the beginning of the Festival and will be sold in bookstores as well.

Program Book, FESTIVAL BALL September 2, 2012

The Festival Ball takes place for the first time in 2012 and will be a social highlight attended by international guests from business, politics, culture and society. The program book will provide a comprehensive guide through this glittering evening; it will be sent to the ball’s guests prior to the beginning of the Festival as well as distributed to all guests during the event.

Program Books, OPERA July 20–September 2, 2012

Program books will be published for the nine scenic and concert opera productions: Die Zauberflöte, Das Labyrinth, Ariadne auf Naxos, Die Soldaten, La Bohème, Carmen, Giulio Cesare in Egitto, Tamerlano and Il re pastore.

  • Total print run: 47,500 copies 
  • Circulation: 95,000 readers

Program Books, DRAMA July 20–September 2, 2012

Program books will be published for Jedermann, Prinz Friedrich von Homburg, Peer Gynt (including La Tempête), Der Bauer als Millionär (including Kafkas Schloss) as well as publications in various formats for all other drama productions.

  • Total print run: 32,600 copies
