At the moment, the roof of the Felsenreitschule is being renewed. Within six minutes, the open-air venue will be able to transform itself into a full, covered theater. Altogether, this renovation will cost 8.5 million Euros. The first building phase is to be completed by the end of May 2011.
On Friday, June 9, 2011, the Friends of the Salzburg Festival will organize an opening concert, as a small token of our gratitude.
It would be nice if we could realize this project together once again – after all, thanks to your help, we were able to raise 40% of the building costs of the Haus für Mozart from private sources.
