ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

The Austrian stage director, musician and author Klaudia Kadlec offers children the opportunity to encounter grand opera in a playful manner. Unlike their parents, the children are not reduced to the role of viewers, but participate actively. With the help of colourful costumes, instruments, through acting and dancing, they approach the famous works of operatic literature – almost like the stars at the big theatre next door.

They will be supported in these endeavours by the young stars of the Young Singers Project, who will interpret the virtuoso arias of the opera’s main protagonists during the workshops.

An unforgettable experience – this is how lively opera can be!
